RMIT Game Days is a recurring campus gaming activation series hosted monthly at RMIT University. In collaboration with Kanga Esports and CouchWarriors League, the event series fosters student engagement, community-building, and competitive play in a fun and inclusive environment.
Objectives:
- Build a consistent gaming event hub for RMIT students and the local community
- Provide coaching, esports experience, and networking opportunities
- Engage brand partners in a grassroots, high-visibility activation space
Key Results:
- 16 events held with 2,900+ total attendees
- 121,593+ social impressions across X and Instagram
- Tournament participants per event ranged from 45 to 213
- Engaged major partners like AOC, Red Bull, Glorious, Hisense, and Kaki Lima
- Multiple creators and organizations amplified the event via social media
Broadcast & Media:
- Professional broadcast on-site with Hisense 4K projector
- Event tweets and media saw hundreds of likes, retweets, and tens of thousands of views per event
- Regular promotion via @RMITGamesDay, @EventsEngineAU, @CouchWarriors, and @KangaEsports
